Quant Capital is urgently looking for a MacOS Engineer to join our high-profile global trading client. This is a key role in an rapidly growing but established engineering function responsible for the design, automation, and upkeep of macOS systems across a broad, distributed user base.
Overview
The role focuses on developing robust processes for configuring and managing corporate macOS devices, automating workflows where possible, and integrating with internal tools and infrastructure. You’ll work across provisioning, patching, compliance, and system tuning—collaborating with teams globally to support a secure and frictionless user experience.
Core Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain enterprise macOS environments across a large, distributed fleet
* Refine and automate device provisioning, configuration, and compliance processes using modern MDM solutions
* Write, test, and maintain scripts for automation and systems operations (Python, PowerShell, Bash/zsh)
* Troubleshoot complex issues across the OS, hardware, software, and network stack
* Oversee the full Apple device lifecycle using Apple Business Manager and supporting tools
* Monitor device performance, apply system updates, and enforce security standards
* Ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms and back-end systems
* Maintain thorough documentation of systems, updates, and resolutions
* Collaborate across IT, support, and infrastructure functions to align tooling and policy globally
What You'll Need
* Minimum 4 years in a macOS-focused engineering or infrastructure role
* Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash/zsh, or PowerShell)
* Practical experience with enterprise MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Workspace One
* Deep understanding of macOS security models, update mechanisms, and compliance frameworks
* Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager or equivalent lifecycle management tools
* Ability to debug a wide range of endpoint and connectivity issues
* Strong communicator, able to work across distributed teams and business units
* Familiar with performance monitoring tools and endpoint health analysis
* Fluent English and a high standard of written technical documentation
