Are you passionate, motivated and enjoy building outstanding relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment backed by a supportive team? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
We’ve got huge ambitions for 2024 and beyond, and we’re looking for a National Sales Account Manager to join our National sales team to help us achieve our goals.
Location: This role is national, requiring travel around 4 days per week to visit our contractors. A company vehicle will be provided. Overnight stays may be necessary depending on the location. During the learning phase, you will be supported by experienced colleagues.
This role is hybrid: one day working from home, four days on the road.
What you’ll be doing
You will lead and manage partnerships with high-profile Key Accounts, working collaboratively to meet strategic plans and sales/profit targets. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing national customers, building relationships, and converting enquiries into orders.
* Coordinating with Credit Services to ensure timely payments.
* Managing sales and profitability of each account in line with expectations.
* Maximizing sales potential of customer deals.
* Maintaining regular contact with customers and utilizing the “Quote Hub” for quotes.
What we are looking for
We seek enthusiastic, resilient, and resourceful individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence. Well-organized and proactive, capable of building remote relationships with major national clients.
Our culture values pride in our work, teamwork, and shared vision. The ideal candidate will have:
* A success-oriented attitude and a mindset for continuous improvement.
* Industry knowledge of building products is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
* Strong skills in building relationships via phone and video calls.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to relate to diverse individuals.
* Good knowledge of company IT systems.
Experience dealing with national housebuilders and main contractors is preferred but not mandatory.
What’s in it for you?
We offer top-tier training and development, with a clear career progression path within the Travis Perkins Group. Benefits include:
* Performance-related bonus
* Contributory pension scheme
* Colleague discounts across Group businesses
