Our client is seeking an experienced Field Sales BD Manager; the role is offered as a permanent full time position. Salary: £30,000 to £40,000K pa – depending on sales experience fully expensed hybrid 24 reg car – personal mileage permitted Bonus: paid twice a year, annually up to 12% of basic salary (KPI related) Bonus paid based on company sales Hours: core hours 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday Requirement to cover phone out of hours on a rota basis Location: ideally candidate would be based in Essex or East London Must have full UK license – max 3 points Must be 25 or over Territory: Essex, London, parts of Kent – some countrywide Benefits: holiday - rising to 25 days BH with service After 6 months Health care 4 x DIS This role requires an experienced Business Development Manager adept at booking face to face meetings, retaining and gaining new business opportunities. Business Development Manager duties: * Arrange and book appointments for face to face site visits with customers. * Set strategy, track, and deliver sales account targets, aligned with company objectives. * Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success * Develop positive relationships with existing customers * Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks * Provide solutions to customers in a timely manner * Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth * Establish and grow relationships with our preferred suppliers * Have a proven track record within a sales environment. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * An ability to deliver projects on time and to budget. * Knowledge of CRM software, MS Office and virtual meeting platforms
