About the role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Private Client Manager to play a key role in our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of high net‑worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, acting as a trusted adviser. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional organisational skills, and proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end client service.
What your days will look like
* Manage a portfolio of high net‑worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships as the key point of contact, building strong long‑term relationships.
* Provide expert guidance on complex private‑client tax matters.
* Take ownership of client delivery, including compliance, ad‑hoc advisory work, billing and adherence to firmwide risk‑management procedures.
* Oversee and review the preparation of complex tax computations and returns, while providing proactive advice on planning opportunities and wider tax issues.
* Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development and enhancing overall capability.
* Engage regularly with clients to anticipate needs, exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
This role is for you if
* Proven track record in a private‑client role with strong technical expertise in private‑client taxation and experience managing similar client portfolios.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive problem‑solver with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Professionally qualified (CTA / ACA) or other equivalent experience.
