Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Estimator, based in Bridgend. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing and reviewing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and assisting in developing proposals for commercial and industrial electrical projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting electrical plans, evaluating material quantities, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control. The role requires collaboration with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver successful outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Electrical Estimating with a strong ability to build and review accurate cost estimates
* Knowledge of Cost Control methods and processes within the electrical contracting industry
* Experience in Electrical Contracting, including working on commercial and industrial projects
* Understanding of Electricity principles and Electrical Engineering concepts
* Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams, clients, and suppliers
* Proficient in relevant software tools used for estimating
* Holds a degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
* Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations (preferred)
