Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Central Belt (between Glasgow and Edinburgh) Salary: to £45,000 | Overtime Available | Van Fuel Card | Excellent Benefits A leading technical services and facilities maintenance provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical / HVAC Maintenance Engineer to join their Central Belt team, covering commercial and leisure sites between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Role * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical and HVAC plant and equipment * Service and repair AHUs, FCUs, pumps, belts, filters, and expansion vessels * Conduct tap and temperature testing * Perform general plumbing maintenance (toilets, taps, sanitary ware) * Complete site walkarounds and maintenance reports Experience Required * Proven Mechanical / HVAC Building Services maintenance background * Basic electrical knowledge preferred * SVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical or Plumbing (or equivalent) * Strong client-facing and communication skills * Must be based between Glasgow and Edinburgh What’s On Offer * up to £45,000 basic salary (based on 40-hour week) * Excellent overtime rates (time & half and double time) * 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays * Pension (3% employee / 5% employer) * Private medical insurance & death in service * On-call and standby allowance with enhanced rates * Van, fuel card, uniform, calibrated tools, and mobile provided * Ongoing training and real career progression opportunities This is a strong opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking for stability, overtime potential, and management that genuinely understands the work — because they’ve done it.
