About Us
Concrete4Change (C4C) is a pioneering R&D company developing breakthrough technology to capture and permanently mineralise CO₂ in concrete. Our patented additive reduces emissions while improving strength and durability, offering a scalable solution for one of the world's most polluting industries.
Having recently scaled up our production process 10x, we're constructing a pilot plant in Nottingham that will run on real flue gas. Data from this system will directly inform the design of a commercial demonstrator 100x larger. C4C is backed by major industrial players (SCG, Goldbeck), partners with leading universities, and works with top European concrete manufacturers.
This is a pivotal moment to join C4C as we scale from lab to industry.

The Role
C4C is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our commercial strategy, global partnerships, and market entry. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven executive with deep B2B experience in construction materials, cleantech, or industrial technologies, and a proven track record of scaling revenues and building global partnerships.
You will define and execute C4C's go-to-market approach, structure business models, and secure adoption of our technology with leading cement, concrete, and construction companies worldwide. The role requires balancing strategic vision with hands-on deal-making and investor engagement, working closely with the CEO, COO, and CTO.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Market Growth
* Define and implement C4C's global go-to-market strategy.
* Drive adoption of C4C technology via licensing, partnerships, and commercial pilots.
* Develop scalable business models suited to multiple markets (e.g. licensing, JV, direct sales).
Partnerships & Business Development
* Build and manage relationships with cement manufacturers, contractors, and government bodies.
* Negotiate strategic agreements with industrial players.
* Secure multiple offtake and licensing agreements from the market.
* Represent C4C at industry events, conferences, and policy forums.
Leadership & Team Building
* Build and lead a high-performing commercial team.
* Foster a results-driven, customer-centric culture.
* Ensure commercial priorities are aligned with product development and operations.
Investor & Market Engagement
* Support fundraising efforts through commercial insights, pipeline forecasts, and market validation.
* Track market trends, policy developments, and competitor activity.
* Act as a senior spokesperson for C4C's commercial strategy.
Essential Requirements
* 10+ years' senior commercial leadership experience in industrial B2B markets (construction materials, cleantech, or related), including at least 5 years in start-ups.
* Proven track record of revenue growth and scaling partnerships internationally.
* Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts and structuring complex deals.
* Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, with proven experience in offtake and licensing agreements.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
Desirable Experience
* Prior experience in the construction industries.
* Experience introducing innovative technologies into conservative, regulated markets.
* Understanding of carbon markets, sustainability frameworks, or ESG regulations.
* Familiarity with joint ventures, licensing, and large-scale industrial partnerships.
* Exposure to fundraising and investor relations in growth-stage companies.
