Job Title: Advocacy Services Coordinator
About the Role:
This is a dynamic and rewarding position where you will play a crucial role in expanding our advocacy services for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and addiction issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside individuals to ensure their voices are heard and respected, providing one-to-one support to understand their rights and make informed decisions.
* Develop and implement collective advocacy strategies with groups of people with lived experience to explore shared concerns and influence service development and decision-making.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in advocacy or a related field, with a strong understanding of mental health and addiction issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
