Role: HSE Manager
Location: Goole
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a leading logistics business based in Goole to recruit an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hands-on safety professional to shape and drive HSE strategy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The Role:
As HSE Manager, you'll be the go-to person for all health, safety and environmental matters across the site. You'll lead initiatives that keep people safe, ensure compliance, and build a positive safety culture. This is a business that invests in its people and infrastructure, so you'll have the support to make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
* Leading on HSE compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Conducting audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
* Developing and delivering safety training and toolbox talks.
* Driving continuous improvement in health & safety processes.
* Acting as the main contact for external bodies and regulators.
* Embedding a proactive safety culture across all teams.
Profile:
We're looking for someone who is not just compliant-driven, but passionate about engagement and culture change. Ideally, you'll have experience within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing, and be confident operating in a busy, operational setting.
* NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
* Experience in a logistics/transport/warehouse environment ().
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A collaborative and pragmatic approach.
