Logistics Administrator Location: Basingstoke Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy and growing team based in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for someone highly organised and detail-oriented, looking to build or develop a career within logistics and operations. You will play a key role in coordinating daily transport activities, including planning lorry routes, while also supporting the wider team with general office administration. Key Responsibilities Plan and organise daily lorry routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve issues Monitor deliveries and provide updates where required Maintain accurate records of transport activity and schedules Support with general office administration, including data entry, filing, and correspondence Assist with processing paperwork such as delivery notes and invoices Handle incoming calls and emails, providing professional support to internal and external stakeholders Skills & Experience Previous experience in logistics, transport planning, or administration is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills and a professional manner Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
