About the Role
Full‑time hybrid role based in Great Thurlow (HQ) for a Principal Environmental Consultant. The role leads the Environmental Assessment team and technical projects from inception to completion, providing expertise in environmental remediation, restoration, or consultancy.
Responsibilities
* Develop project scopes and conduct risk assessments.
* Oversee environmental remediation processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Liaise with stakeholders.
* Guide team members, provide mentorship, and maintain high‑quality standards.
* Implement innovative, technology‑driven solutions.
Qualifications
* Technical expertise in environmental remediation (including remedial options appraisal and quantitative risk assessments).
* Strong project management skills.
* Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
* Ability to deliver technology‑driven solutions.
* Leadership and mentoring skills.
* Proficiency in preparing technical reports and client communications.
* Experience in data‑driven decision‑making and remote monitoring technologies.
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; postgraduate qualification or project‑management certifications are advantageous.
