LOCATION: Salford
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £28,500 - £38,500 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

You'll have the opportunity to work on our coverage of Premier League and Champions League football, the Six Nations rugby, grand slam tennis, international cricket and more. When it comes to making podcasts you'll be vital to the team that produces The Football Daily and more of the biggest sports podcasts in the industry.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* You'll need to show a passion for sport and learn how to edit audio and communicate effectively with reporters and producers.
* You'll be expected to come up with ideas and stories for programmes and digital platforms and provide clear treatments and proposals.
* You may be asked to support the production of a specific sport throughout the year working closely with Sport Correspondents, Sport Leads and Production Management.
* You will be able to work flexibly (including unsociable hours) to deliver live sport programmes from around the world
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience of working in a professional media environment, ideally within sport.
* Proven passion for sport - please evidence this in your application.
* Proven ability to come up with new, creative ideas - please evidence this in your application.
* Demonstrable interest in and passion for audio sport coverage.
* You'll need to know the principles of how to optimise storytelling for under 34s, and will be passionate about both the creation and production of digital content. Please evidence this in your application.
