About Our Environment Resilience Renewables (ERR) Advisory Group
Our Environment Group has been providing environmental solutions for over 30 years in the UK. We offer a comprehensive range of environmental services to support all sizes and types of development, from high profile infrastructure projects to carbon management, climate resilience, locally driven habitat enhancement, and wider biodiversity net gain projects. We specialise in consenting, permitting and licensing support for complex infrastructure developments and operations.
Job Role
Senior Onshore EIA Consultant
This role might be right for you if you have strong communication skills and technical expertise in terrestrial EIA and onshore infrastructure consenting. You will lead and support complex environmental assessment projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical input on environmental assessments.
* Lead and support complex environmental assessment projects including EIAs and discharge of consent conditions.
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide technical input on environmental assessments.
* Develop and review environmental reports for consenting processes.
* Engage directly with clients to offer strategic advice and problem solving.
* Represent the company in client offices, regulator meetings, and stakeholder consultations.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, planning policy, and best practice standards.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical excellence.
* Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in environmental assessment methodologies.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in the delivery of EIAs and the consenting process.
* Experience in post‑consent project delivery.
* Experience working with a variety of stakeholders.
* Robust project management and financial management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
