Overview
Performance and Insight Manager (Distribution Centre Operations) – Hybrid Working (Corby or Nuneaton - with regular EMEA Travel).
The purpose of this role is to provide insightful reports from complex/multiple data sets that will support the DC senior teams to make data driven decisions, supporting forecasting initiatives, and identifying actionable recommendations to improve operational and financial performance across the EMEA Distribution centres.
What you will be doing
* Analyse large sets of structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
* Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to understand business goals and challenges.
* Design and deliver dashboards, visualisations, and reports that clearly communicate key metrics and trends.
* Support the development and refinement of forecasting models to predict future performance and resource needs.
* Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive strategic initiatives.
* Monitor business performance and KPIs; proactively identify deviations from targets and support root cause analysis.
* Translate complex data analyses into clear narratives for stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy.
* Build and maintain strong, influential relationships with leadership teams, finance, and commercial teams, ensuring that data-driven insights directly shape key business decisions.
What we're looking for
* Strong background and understanding of Supply Chain operations
* Solid technical skills utilising analytics toolsets such as Snowflake and Power BI
* Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar.
* Strong understanding of forecasting techniques and performance metrics
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and independently.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to function effectively across cultures, to think and act appropriately, and to communicate and work with people from different cultural backgrounds
