We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled FE Teacher in Creative Media Production to join our team at South Essex College. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support learners across Levels 1–4, helping them develop both technical and creative skills for the media industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro for video editing, and be confident in delivering engaging, industry‑relevant teaching. Experience or interest in visual effects is highly desirable. You will be adaptable, organised, and committed to supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential. The role also includes course leadership and pastoral responsibilities for a designated cohort, requiring strong organisational skills and a commitment to student wellbeing and progression. For those who do not currently hold a teaching qualification, you will need a minimum Level 3 qualification in your subject specialism plus Maths and English at Level 2 before embarking on a Cert Ed Level 5 or PGCE Level 6. LGV Driving Instructor
We are looking for LGV Driving Instructors to undertake all aspects of practical delivery of the college’s LGV training provision, for both funded and non‑funded workstreams. The role will be responsible for ensuring any college LGV assets remain legally compliant, and that all maintenance and MOT schedules of college owned, rental and leasing assets, are fully adhered to. The LGV Driving Instructor will ensure that all vehicle assets are secured and compliant with all arrangements for their parking, storage, and operations. The Driving Instructor role will also ensure that any learners using the college’s driver training vehicle fleet are legally compliant to do and safe to do so at all times. This role is based in Basildon, Essex at KE Kent.
* Held a LGV Licence Category C and CE for 3 years or more
* Experience of driver training in cat. C and CE
* A valid DQC (Driver Qualification Card). An Assessor Award is desirable but not essential

AI Ecosystem Engineer (Microsoft 365 & Copilot)
We’re looking for an AI Ecosystem Engineer to lead the development, maintenance and optimisation of our AI ecosystem, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot Agents, AI‑driven automation and creating an AI Data Ready environment across the College.
What you’ll be doing
* Build, maintain and optimise Copilot Agents in Copilot Studio, focusing on reliability, quality outputs and responsible token use
* Manage and improve SharePoint knowledge sources and information structure to keep content accurate, accessible and governed
* Design and support workflow automation using Power Automate and M365 tooling to reduce repetitive tasks for staff
* Work with APIs and integrations to improve data flows and unlock secure automation opportunities
* Champion safe AI adoption—supporting colleagues with troubleshooting, guidance, training resources and a SharePoint‑based prompt library
* Keep security and governance front‑and‑centre, working to cyber security best practice and helping maintain/extend College AI policy
* Contribute to wider senior infrastructure work as needed (e.g., Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Purview and related platforms)
What we’re looking for
* Experience working in an IT environment with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and service delivery
* Hands‑on experience with AI tools, LLMs or automation platforms (ideally Copilot Studio and/or Power Automate)
* Good awareness of cyber security best practice and a commitment to secure‑by‑design delivery
* Confidence writing clear documentation and creating user‑friendly guidance or training materials
* Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and the ability to work with a wide range of colleagues across departments
* Desirable: Level 3 IT qualification, degree in IT/Computer Science (or similar), and/or relevant industry certifications

ESOL Teacher
We are looking for 2 motivated and suitably qualified individuals to join our dynamic team within the ESOL provision, teaching learners both 16‑18 and adults from Entry Level up to Level 2.
