Titan Manufacturing is a thriving engineering company; a one stop production workshop specialising in sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, laser profile cutting and surface finishing.
With a growing customer base and orders book, Titan are looking to recruit a Planning Engineer.
Job Function:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Planning engineer has the responsibility for production planning and project control. Utilizing analytical skills they will manage workflow efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and co-ordinating with all the departments to ensure production goals are met.
You will be organised, dependable and resilient with a positive, can do attitude.
The role involves all the operational challenges of a busy engineering company.
Person Specification:
With an engineering background, you will be an enthusiastic, dynamic team player. Having a broad skill base comprising of strong analytical skills and organisational and project control abilities, you will be a strong communicator with effective time management skills. Competent and IT literate, you must be reliable and flexible, with proven knowledge and experience within the manufacturing process.
The role requires a professional, hardworking and honest individual who is looking to become a key member of the team. Competent with both the attitude and aptitude to get things done, to the required standard. Holding the ability to demonstrate a logical and common sense approach.

Qualifications:
* Ideally educated to A level or equivalent; or established/proven experience in similar position/environment as required by the position.
* Experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC precision and associated manufacturing processes is essential.
* Experience in using MRP Software is essential; experience specifically with Tricorn MRP systems would be preferred.
* Extensive and proven experience of quality control procedures and production planning.
* Holding strong analytical skills and proven project control experience.
* Experience in supply chain management and logistics.
* Strong literacy and numerical skills.
Main Duties:
* Responsible for production planning and project control.
* Manage and liaise with the Purchasing Administrator and Materials Controller to ensure material and stocks are in place for scheduled orders.
* Manage workflow efficiency.
* With the Operations Manager, manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ensuring quality control procedures are followed and standards are both met and maintained.
* Co-ordinate all departments to ensure production goals are met.
* To liaise with both customers and suppliers as required.
* To undertake any other duties within reason as directed by the Directors.

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
