Key Responsibilities
Key Skills Court Work & Safeguarding: Provide expert support in cases involving court proceedings and child protection.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with IDVAs, probation officers, adult mental health practitioners, substance misuse workers, and family support workers.
Family-Centred Planning: Use motivational interviewing and strengths-based approaches to co-create family plans that ensure child safety.
Reflective Practice: Engage in daily conversations with managers and senior leaders for emotional support and professional guidance.
Training & Development: Participate in high-quality training packages available to both locum and permanent staff.
Contribute to Reform: Be part of the Families First reforms, helping shape impactful services for children and families
Strong Court & Safeguarding Experience: Proven ability to navigate complex legal and protective frameworks.
Motivational Interviewing: Skilled in engaging families to foster positive change.
Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working in integrated, multi-disciplinary teams.
Resilience & Empathy: Able to manage emotionally demanding situations with compassion and professionalism.
