We are looking for creative, resilient and passionate Teaching assistants to work in one of our schools in the Cheadle area. This school supports young people from the ages of 3-19 so there is a wide variety. This is a SEN School so you would be supporting young people who have severe/profound learning disabilities (SLD/PMLD), Autism, severe hearing and sight loss and some physical needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to inclusive education and wants to play a vital role in supporting young people.
Responsibilities
* Support the class team in creating a creative, happy and safe learning environment
* Build strong rapport with not only the young people but their families as well
* To integrate a holistic approach into role
* Understand and respond to students’ communication and support needs
* Deliver individual learning interventions and support student progress
* Promote positive behaviour and supervise students during lessons, lunch and break times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
