Business Development Manager – Renewable Technologies
Location: Manchester
We're working with a UK-based renewable energy company seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead sales of Commercial Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Charging solutions across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
What You’ll Do:
* Identify and convert new business opportunities across sectors like manufacturing, logistics, retail, and real estate
* Conduct client meetings, site assessments, and deliver tailored energy proposals
* Close deals including CapEx and funded models (PPAs)
* Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal teams
* Stay on top of market trends, incentives, and contribute to strategy
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven B2B sales experience (renewables or related industry preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Solar PV
* PPA and funded-project sales experience highly advantageous
* Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and drive
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
What You’ll Get:
* £45,000–£55,000 base + commission
