Technical Services TrainerLocation: Warwick, UKRole OverviewWe are seeking a Technical Services Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training to customers, technicians, and internal teams. Reporting to the Technical Training Lead, you will play a key role in delivering engaging training programmes, maintaining training content, and supporting the ongoing development of the Delphi Academy curriculum.This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong training delivery skills and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining DeliveryDeliver engaging technical training across areas such as diagnostics, EV/hybrid systems, ADAS, emissions, electronics, and chassis technologiesSimplify complex technical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand trainingAdapt training style to suit different audience levelsMaintain accurate training and attendance recordsCurriculum DevelopmentDevelop and update training materials, presentations, and course contentEnsure content aligns with current industry standards, legislation, and product updatesUse feedback to continuously improve training programmesSupport development of new courses aligned with emerging technologiesCustomer EngagementAct as a technical ambassador, delivering a high-quality learning experienceSupport learners before, during, and after trainingParticipate in demonstrations, open days, and industry eventsBuild relationships with customers, distributors, and partnersOperations & PlanningSupport the planning and scheduling of training sessionsEnsure all equipment, tools, and workshop facilities are prepared and maintainedIdentify and resolve technical or equipment issuesContribute to improving training operations and deliveryCollaboration & DevelopmentWork closely with technical teams to ensure consistent messagingSupport product launches with training inputStay up to date with new automotive technologies and industry trendsContribute to internal training and cross-functional projectsRequirementsEssentialProven experience delivering technical training within the automotive sectorStrong knowledge of modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, and emerging technologies (EV, hybrid, ADAS)Excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience developing training materials (classroom and/or e-learning)Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and automotive equipmentStrong organisational and planning skillsHigh level of IT literacy, including familiarity with e-learning platformsAbility to engage effectively with a range of stakeholdersDesirableExperience within the automotive aftermarketExperience working in a global or matrix organisationWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageCareer development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive working environmentOpportunity to work with innovative technologies in a global company
