Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3-5
* Lead development of Statistics within the department (KS4 & KS5)
* Work closely with the Head of Maths to support teaching, learning, and assessment
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of schemes of work
* Monitor and track student progress using data to drive improvement
* Support and develop colleagues, sharing best practice across the department
* Contribute to departmental leadership, including behaviour management and daily operations
* Participate in the wider school community and enrichment activities
Key Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with a particular strength in Statistics
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS4/KS5 desirable)
* Ability to lead or contribute to curriculum development
* Proven ability (or clear potential) to raise student attainment
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* A collaborative and proactive approach to team working
