Description
* As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for residents, including council tax related enquiries.
* You will handle a variety of tasks, such as explaining council tax bills, setting up payment plans, answering enquiries, and resolving issues faced by residents.
* Your ability to offer exceptional customer service while handling sensitive information is key to the role.
Key responsibilities:
* Handling inbound calls related to Council Services, including Council Tax.
* Assist residents with understanding their council tax bills, payments, and account details.
* Set up and manage Direct Debits, payment plans, and other payment options.
* Assist with Council Tax-related issues such as arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
* Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
* Experience in answering enquiries related to CTAX billing and recovery.
* (Essential) Experience using Revenue systems such as NEC Northgate.
* (Essential) Must have a current BPSS certification that covers the duration of the placement.
* (Essential) Be aware that Liverpool City Council's overtime rates have been aligned with those of permanent Liverpool City Council employees.
