We are seeking acompassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistantto join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding role where every day is different, and your support will have a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with a variety of SEND
* Help implement individual learning plans, EHCP targets, and therapy strategies
* Use visual aids, communication tools, and tailored resources to support engagement
* Foster independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour
* Assist the class teacher with classroom activities, preparation, and routines
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, youth work or similar)
* A calm, empathetic, and patient nature
* Confidence in supporting children with challenging behaviour, sensory needs, or limited communication
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential

Pay: £91.52-£94.92 per day
