About the Role
Utilise existing product knowledge and market experience to increase sales of Gearedmotor/Gearbox product range at new customers, as well as Motors & Automation product lines where the opportunity exists. This will predominately expected to be OEM’s, however, may also include Distributors and End Users.
Responsibilities
* Utilise product knowledge and market experience to achieve Gearedmotor/Gearbox sales growth and exceed targets, this will be the main focus.
* Actively follow up on sales quotations and liaising with regional sales managers to secure sales orders.
* Provide technical support to UK colleagues in customer facing sales activities.
* Providing product related technical training to customers both at UK base and customers premises as required.
* Generate reports as and when required to support team and company KPIs.
Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of Gearedmotors/Gearboxes and their intended application.
* Able to select Gearedmotors/Gearboxes given load and application data using applicable technical catalogues and software programs.
* Sound experience of the UK Gearbox market and customer base.
* Experience of different applications.
Required Skills
* Knowledge of rotating machines and automation control systems.
* Qualified to ONC / HNC / Degree level in mechanical/electrical subject.
