Role Overview
Are you a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie looking to make your mark in a vibrant kitchen? Join our busy kitchen team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests across the restaurant, bar, room service, and event catering. You’ll manage your own section while supporting our senior chefs in creating memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Own Your Section: Take full responsibility for your section, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards at all times.
* Collaborate: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
* Innovate: Assist in developing new menu items by contributing your creative ideas.
* Maintain Standards: Uphold high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, complying with all food safety regulations and kitchen standards.
* Mentor: Support junior kitchen staff with training and guidance as needed.
* Manage Stock: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help minimize waste.
About You
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (desirable).
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum).
* Passion: A love for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
* Team Player: Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Reliability: Calm under pressure and flexible to work across a 7-day rota, including weekends and evenings.
