About the Role As Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in line with CQC standards and best practice.
You will:
Provide day-to-day clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the service
Take full responsibility in the Managers absence
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
Oversee care planning, clinical audits, and medication management
Maintain accurate documentation and high standards of record keeping
Conduct pre-admission and ongoing resident assessments
Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Mentor, supervise, and develop staff to deliver exceptional care
What Were Looking For NMC Registered Nurse (essential)
Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a senior clinical role
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
A genuine passion for person-centred care
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to identify and manage safeguarding concerns effectively
A collaborative approach to working with residents, families, and professionals
