Job Title: Head of Modelling & Optimisation, Head of Pricing Transformation
Two positions are available within our Retail Pricing - Modelling & Optimisation division.
Location: Flexible hybrid working with offices in Manchester and Peterborough.
The successful candidate will lead technical pricing solutions to drive commercial outcomes, providing strategic and technical leadership, managing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic ownership of pricing solutions.
2. Driving change and continuous improvement.
3. Producing pricing models using a tailored pipeline.
4. Building predictive models with pricing software to optimise customer prices.
5. Improving pricing processes for better performance and efficiency.
6. Leading research to innovate modelling and pricing methodologies.
7. Ensuring compliance with pricing governance and controls.
8. Collaborating with the Street Pricing Team and managing stakeholder relationships.
9. Managing a team with diverse experience, including managers.
About You:
1. Experience managing pricing teams and managers.
2. Excellent communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
3. Extensive experience with general insurance products and current trends.
4. Knowledge of WTW's Radar or Earnix software.
5. Strong commercial acumen.
6. Experience in retail pricing optimisation and predictive modelling.
7. Proficiency in statistical and data science programming languages.
