Job Description
Brabers is a small, fast-growing, international IT recruitment consultancy. In addition to IT talent resource planning and staffing, we specialise in international IT transformation program staffing. Role purpose
- To identify, attract, and qualify IT talent (with a focus on AI, Data or SAP) and to actively support business development by nurturing candidate relationships, generating referrals, and creating candidate-driven introductions to potential clients.
Location and working pattern:
- North London office, Finsbury Park. Hybrid options may be explored; 1-2 days per week remote possible during training/transition.
Key responsibilities
- Talent sourcing and screening
- Utilize multiple sources (CRM/ATS, job boards, social media, referrals) to identify top IT candidates.
- Screen CVs, conduct structured interviews, assess technical fit, availability, and compensation expectations.
- Build candidate pipelines and maintain talent pools for current and future demand.
- Provide CV optimization and interview preparation support; offer career guidance.
- Candidate relationship management
- Act as primary/strong secondary contact for current and prospective candidates.
- Maintain regular, proactive communication to understand career goals and timelines.
- Surface opportunities for candidates to engage with clients (introductions, referrals).
- BD-support through candidate-centric activities
- Develop and execute candidate-led BD activities (referrals, introductions to hiring managers, networking).
- Build and maintain a candidate referral network to generate client opportunities.
- Share market insights, salary trends, and candidate availability with BD/clients to support lead generation.
- Brand and visibility
- Contribute to personal and company brand through appropriate social content and engagement (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Administration and data
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the CRM/ATS; manage talent pools.
- Provide regular market updates and pipeline metrics to the team.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues responsible for client management and business development to align supply with demand.
Required skills and qualifications
- Several years’ experience in IT recruitment with a proven track record of placing candidates and proactive outreach.
- Strong candidate-facing communication; articulate, empathetic, and credible.
- Ability to demonstrate Brabers’ values and a genuine people-first approach.
- Resilient, organised, precise, proactive, resourceful, creative; capable of managing expectations.
- Familiarity with AI, Data or SAP is preferred.
- Comfortable speaking on the phone for most of the day.
- Strong customer service orientation; relationship-building mindset.
- University degree with 2.1+ grade or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work in a small, fast-paced team environment and to contribute across multiple facets (BD support, marketing, recruitment).
Desirable attributes
- Experience with candidate marketing and personal branding.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools; familiarity with recruitment automation is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively.
Compensation and benefits
- Training and development.
- Attractive commission structure.
- Full-time option: 35 hours/week
- Salary up to £30.000 (depending on experience).
- 25 holidays + bank holidays.
- Hybrid work options available after initial training period.
