    Stores & Procurement Officer

    Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30

    An opportunity has arisen for a Stores & Procurement Officer within the Southeast Mobility and Rehabilitation Technology (SMART) Services. The services are based at the SMART Centre, Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh. The SMART Centre provides highly specialised clinical rehabilitation technology services across the southeast of Scotland. While the post is primarily based at the SMART Centre, the post holder will also be required to work at other NHS Lothian sites.

    The post holder may be based within the Prosthetics Workshops but may also be required to assist in the Orthotics or Assistive Technology stores teams. The role involves maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues using the stores areas and supporting the achievement of targets and objectives to enhance the patient journey. Candidates should have current or previous training in a stores or warehouse setting, with strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across different teams.

    The post holder will work to the services standard operating procedures and NHS Lothians policies and procedures including all Health & Safety requirements.
