Overview
Associate Director, Tax Treasury role as listed on ACCA Careers. We are looking for experienced tax professionals to join our Financing & Treasury Tax advisory team in London, focusing on privately owned companies, at experienced Manager or Associate Director level.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical advice across a wide range of financing and treasury tax projects for privately owned companies, including raising acquisition finance for M&A transactions (including complex instruments such as convertible loans).
* Conduct reviews of interest deductibility, including late interest, hybrids, transfer pricing, unallowable purpose and corporate interest restriction rules.
* External debt refinancing and restructuring.
* FX and commodity hedging.
* Taxation of derivative contracts such as interest rate swaps, currency forwards, put/call options and warrants.
* Implement cash management strategies and cash pooling projects.
* Intra-group reorganisations and loan simplification projects.
* Collaborate with client service teams and other specialist teams (M&A Tax, Transfer Pricing, Accounting Advisory, Corporate Treasury and Deloitte Legal) to coordinate tax advice and gain knowledge of key issues across other taxes.

Skills and experience
* UK corporate tax or equivalent experience gained in compliance, advisory or transactions.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Experience on financing and treasury projects is preferred, but strong technical skills across the UK corporation tax spectrum are essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload; strong teamwork and networking.
* Calm, efficient and resilient under pressure with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
* High IT literacy including Microsoft Office.
