Overview
Business Development Manager - Midlands at TieTalent. Due to expansion, a highly respected risk management and fraud investigation company is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager in the Midlands.
You will be a confident, personable graduate (law or accountancy). Previous sales experience is essential.
The role is diverse with a great opportunity for those who are dedicated and hardworking. It involves visiting potential and existing clients (from the financial, insolvency & legal sectors) across the following geographical areas.
* Nottingham
* Derby
* Stoke-on-Trent
* Telford
* Coventry
* Birmingham
* Worcester
* Bristol
* Cardiff

Duties
* Visiting potential and existing clients.
* Building client relationships.
* Actively promoting our services within your geographical area.
* Setting up projects (electronically and hard copy as required) and ensuring correct procedures are followed and appropriate documentation is sent to clients and suppliers.
* Ensuring documents are returned completed promptly.
* Responding to and resolving any client sales issues.
* Updating internal records, including spreadsheets and CRM systems.
* Ensuring overall target sales of the business are achieved in a set time frame.
* Sales/profit targets will continually increase as directed by your Director/Line Manager.
* Taking ownership/responsibility of issues in a forward-thinking manner.
* Liaising with clients both verbally and in writing professionally.
* All communications with clients must be confirmed by email the same day as the communication.
* Be able to prioritise workload.
* Attending functions and occasional overnight hotel stays to accommodate functions/meetings.
* To assist our Compliance Manager with maintaining records for audits of our ISO27001 systems.
* Ensuring all relevant documentation/correspondence is electronically filed in the relevant folders.
* Completing weekly meetings report for the forthcoming week’s meetings, including company/contact details and reason for meeting.
* Provide weekly written sales updates on the week’s activities to the Director/Line Manager and a monthly report of previous month’s prospective vs. actual sales.
* Adhere to all management systems, legislation, policies and procedures in place or introduced later, including ISO 27001 and GDPR.
* Be proactive in implementing improvements to current working systems.
* Expense budget & objectives.

* Previous sales experience is essential.
* Willingness to visit clients across multiple locations and manage customer relationships.
