Our client is looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to their finance team.Specific duties and responsibilities
* Raise sales orders and sales invoices using Sage 50 accounting software.
* Liasing with warehouses to ensure inventory levels are sufficient and reconciled to Sage
* Investigating and resolving sales ledger account and inventory queries
* Approving warehouse transport and storage payable invoices
* Upload daily/weekly stock receipts
* Ensure customer sales prices are up-to-date by working closely with account managers
* Investigate and raise credit notes where appropriate.
* Working closely with the parent company shipment and inventory team
* Monitoring and managing imported inventory containers and registering on Sage.
* Working with company accountant to ensure monthly reconciliations are accurate and timely.
* Reporting closely with the Finance Director to achieve company goals.
* Ad-hoc duties when required.
Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience in raising sales invoices.
* Sage 50 experience is a necessity.
* Stock management experience is advantageous but not a necessity at this stage.
* The ability to use own initiative.
