School Details - SEN Teaching Assistant The SRP is a bridge between a mainstream primary school and a special needs school. Two classes, 7-9 children each, with a teacher and two TAs in each class. Children have a range of needs including; Social, Communication and Interaction delays/difficulties Autism Speech and Language delay Sensory processing difficulties Physical self-help difficulties (can require intimate care) Cognition and learning delay Global Delay Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The provision is mostly play-based, with children dipping into subject-specific curriculum as and when they are suitable based on their developmental ability.
