SEN Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) Needed – St Helens

Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We’re recruiting committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) to work across a variety of welcoming schools in St Helens.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing dedicated 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with additional needs
* Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
* Helping implement EHCPs and personalised support strategies
* Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
* Using positive behaviour strategies to create a safe and inclusive environment
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
* Have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, etc.)
* Are patient, understanding, and able to build strong relationships
* Can adapt support and communication styles to meet individual needs
* Bring a calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
* Hold relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, Autism Awareness, SEN qualifications) – desirable but not essential
