Delivery Manager
The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager to lead the design and execution of high-impact, industry-relevant training and development programmes. This role ensures that all provision aligns with learner and employer needs, meets funding and quality standards, and delivers on the financial targets of the delivery team.
This will be based at our Trafford Park Skills centre.

Key responsibilities:
1. Develop service area plans, delivery timetables, and financial strategies aligned with KPIs and digital platforms.
2. Monitor learner retention and achievement, manage staff performance, and implement corrective actions using MI and QIPs.
3. Build strong relationships with employers, partners, and sector groups to shape competitive, market-responsive curriculum offers.
4. Design and review curriculum to meet learner, employer, and funder needs, including bespoke programs and blended learning models.
5. Recruit, manage, and develop staff to meet professional standards, foster GC culture, and ensure innovative service delivery.
6. Implement systems to meet contractual, audit, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements, reducing risk and ensuring quality.
7. Manage training resources, facilities, and troubleshoot daily issues to maintain continuity and high-quality service.
8. Work with internal teams on bids and tenders, contribute to business growth, and lead by example in all aspects of delivery.

Skills required:
18. Demonstrated achievement in both funded and commercial environments, with a strong ability to motivate teams to exceed targets.
19. Must be qualified engineer with hands on experience working on various disciplines within the Engineering sector.
20. Extensive experience in post-16 education, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment using blended learning approaches.
21. Skilled in driving contract compliance, quality assurance, and meeting financial performance goals.
22. Experienced in internal quality assurance and designing impactful curriculum and training programmes.
23. Effective leadership of roving and geographically dispersed teams, ensuring consistent delivery and support.
24. Strong understanding of digital and blended learning methodologies to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
25. In-depth knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and its application in quality improvement.
26. Familiar with qualifications, short courses, funding body expectations, awarding body standards, and EPAP requirements.
