Bridgewater High School is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join our Lower School office team.
This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s reception and administrative functions. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a welcoming and efficient service while supporting the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a professional reception service, welcoming visitors and directing them appropriately.
2. Handle telephone calls, forward messages, and respond to queries in a timely manner.
3. Accurately record student attendance and absence.
4. Deliver first aid to students and comply with the school’s accident and incident procedures.
5. Organise and maintain an efficient reception area.
6. Provide clerical and administrative support to teaching and administrative staff.
7. Manage internal and external communication systems, including post and email.
8. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations, particularly regarding pupil data.
9. Uphold the highest standards of customer service and adhere to safeguarding and security policies.
10. Undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post.

Salary: £21,780.86 - £22,127.82 (Plus First Aid Allowance)
Working hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am – 3:30 pm on Fridays. The role is based at our Lower School site.
