We're looking for experienced qualified Nursing Associates to join our nursing team across our London HCA Healthcare hospitals and partnerships
Main duties of the job
Were looking for Qualified Nursing Associates to join our fast-paced Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at The Wellington Hospital the largest private hospital in the UK and home to London's biggest neurosciences unit.
You will work at the heart of a specialist service that treats a wide range of complex neurological conditions, delivering advanced, hands-on rehabilitation alongside an expert multidisciplinary team.
As a Nursing Associate, you will bridge the gap between healthcare support workers and registered nurses, taking on key clinical duties such as patient monitoring, wound care, and supporting patients in understanding their condition and progress.

Job responsibilities
* Take responsibility for a groupof allocated patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
* Able to understand signs ofdeterioration in patients condition, monitor and escalate to appropriatestaffs in timely manner.
* Demonstrate the ability to keepcomplete, clear, accurate and timely records/documentation.
* Demonstrate knowledge and skillsto perform range of nursing procedures, medical devices to meet patients needsfor safe, effective and person-centred care related to medication, nutrition,hydration, elimination, oral care, skin integrity, pain etc.
* Apply appropriate elements ofnursing care process and be able to assist the RN in on-going assessment,planning, management and evaluation of care. Perform and record clinicalobservations
* ApplyVTE prevention devices appropriately and monitor health and safety of patients. Carryout oral medication task safely following Trust protocol once competency isachieved.
* Positionpatients safely and follow MH guidance or any other instructions given by thetherapists.
* Assesspatient's Falls Risk and input appropriate strategies recommended within theTrust policy.

Qualifications
* NMC Registered as a Nursing Associate
Experience
* Significant UK post-registration experience in a ward
* Ability to communicate with patients, relatives and health care providers
* Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
* Good interpersonal skills. Polite, friendly and courteous manner
* Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
