We’re currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) at a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Cardiff. What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting teachers in delivering adapted lessons to meet students’ individual needs Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support Promoting a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Helping students with their social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioural development Preparing classroom materials and assisting in lesson planning Encouraging independence and boosting student confidence About the School: Supports learners aged 3–19 with a variety of ALN Small class sizes (typically no more than 10 students) with a high staff-to-student ratio Child-centred approach, combining sensory-based and practical learning strategies A nurturing and positive environment where every student’s needs are prioritised Who We’re Looking For: No formal teaching qualifications required Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable Compassionate, patient, and adaptable individuals Strong teamwork and communication skills A real interest in supporting learners with ALN Reliable and available during school hours (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) in the Cardiff area Why Join Teaching Personnel?
