We are recruiting a Contracts Manager to join a social housing group based in Nottingham on a 6-month temporary contract. This role will support the organisation with contract data, compliance, and governance during the implementation of a contract management system. The position is mainly remote, with occasional on-site attendance with a competetive day rate of £300-350 a day dependent on experience!
Contracts Manager key responsibilities include:
1. Capturing, maintaining, and updating contract data within the contract management system
2. Ensuring compliance with internal contract management policies and procedures
3. Supporting contract management best practice across the organisation
4. Recording and reconciling contract award notices published on Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service
5. Assisting with the publication of procurement notices
6. Producing reports and maintaining trackers using advanced Excel
This Contracts Manager role requires a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and confidence handling data-heavy workloads.
The successful Contracts Manager will have:
7. Experience in contract management, contract administration, or procurement support
8. Strong understanding of contract management systems
9. Advanced Excel skills
10. Knowledge of public sector procurement (Procurement Act 2023 desirable but not essential)
11. Excellent analytical and organisational skills
