We are seeking a dedicated Lead Vehicle Technician or Senior Mechanic to take on a sole technician role within our established, high-spec independent garage in Wembley. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working independently, taking full ownership of their repairs, and maintaining a modern workshop to the highest standards.

* Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per year (depending on experience).

Your Role
As the Lead Technician in our Wembley facility, you will:
* Workshop Ownership: Take full responsibility for vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance.
* Diagnostics: Use modern fault-finding software to identify and rectify complex mechanical and electronic issues independently.
* Quality Control: Perform detailed vehicle health checks (VHC) and ensure every job meets a "right first time" standard.
* Precision Repairs: Resolve faults with total accuracy, from engine work to chassis and braking systems.
* Efficiency: Manage your own workspace, ensuring it remains clean, organised, and professional.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate digital job cards and workshop records.
What You Need
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
* Experience: Extensive experience in a professional workshop; you must be comfortable working as the only technician on-site.
* Technical Skill: Advanced confidence using automotive diagnostic tools and modern vehicle systems.
* Licensing: A full UK driving license is essential.
* Attributes: Self-motivated, highly organised, and a quality-focused approach to your workmanship.
