Join our new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley, Leicestershire as a Residential Support Worker. We're looking for a passionate individual to join a small, supportive team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Your Role: You'll work with young people aged 8-18 in a short-term assessment home, focusing on building strong, nurturing relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Mentoring and supporting young people to build their confidence and independence.
* Collaborating with families and other professionals.
* Helping with the daily operations of the home, such as cooking and cleaning.
* Maintaining clear and accurate records.
This role requires a commitment to one sleep-in shift per week. While your main location will be Hinckley, you must be willing to cover shifts at other nearby locations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
* You must hold, or be willing to work toward, a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of young people.
* A proactive and flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* A valid UK Driving Licence
