This role is suited to an outstanding classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge, high expectations and a proven ability to secure excellent student outcomes. The successful candidate will combine a passion for Science with the drive to contribute strategically to departmental improvement. In addition to fulfilling the duties of a classroom teacher, the postholder will play a key role in supporting curriculum development, raising standards, and leading the department in the absence of the Head of Department. Key Responsibilities Support the Head of Department in the day-to-day leadership and organisation of the Science faculty. Provide strategic direction and assume leadership responsibility in the absence of the Head of Department. Promote enthusiasm for Science across the department, encouraging high-quality teaching and a shared commitment to excellence.
