Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Sub Agent to join our Water Retain Barrier (WRB) team based in Plymouth at the Devonport Royal Dockyard. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site!
Location & Hours
Location: Plymouth, Devonport Royal Dockyard - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week (07:30 – 17:00) - some flexibility on hours available if desired; just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Sub Agent, you will play a vital role in our Water Retain Barrier team, ensuring construction excellence in a live MOD facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring team members while upholding high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices.
* Communicating effectively with management, technical specialists, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Managing resources, monitoring delivery against agreed programmes, and developing solutions to minimize potential impacts.
* Ensuring all documentation, risk assessments, and test plans are properly maintained and followed.
* Supporting the agent with cost management systems and commercial reporting.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have a degree, HND, HNC, or NVQ in Construction/Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
* You’re detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
* You have experience in construction/civils operations with SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
* You’re enthusiastic about working in a team environment while maintaining a caring approach to colleagues.
