Clinical Lead Lymphoedema (Nurse or Physiotherapist)

?? Hackney, London | ?? Full-time, Permanent

Were seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead for Lymphoedema to lead service delivery and development for a growing specialist team. This role combines advanced clinical practice with leadership and innovation to improve outcomes for patients living with complex lymphoedema and chronic oedema.

Main Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of lymphoedema services.

* Oversee clinical quality, outcomes, and performance indicators.

* Supervise and mentor specialist nurses and therapists.

* Drive service development and pathway improvement.

* Collaborate with partners to expand reach and optimise patient flow.

* Support education and training programmes within the service.

Essential Qualifications
* Registered Nurse or Physiotherapist (NMC/HCPC registration required).

* Lymphoedema qualification (or equivalent specialist training).

* Degree or Masters level qualification demonstrating specialist knowledge.

Desirable:

* Teaching/Assessing qualification.

* Independent Prescribing qualification.

Essential Experience
* Minimum 3 years as a Lymphoedema Specialist.

* Proven experience managing a complex leg ulcer or chronic oedema caseload.

* Expertise in compression therapy and wound care.

* Experience in clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring.

* Evidence of quality improvement and clinical audit activity.

* Experience of teaching in a variety of settings.

Desirable:

* Experience in service development or training design.

* Multidisciplinary working and publications.

* Strong leadership and organisational skills.

* Reflective practitioner with excellent communication.

* Safe, accountable, and detail-focused clinical practice.

* Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and handle complex cases.

* Flexible and committed to continuous learning.

* Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving ability.

Circumstances
* Valid UK work permit.

* Sponsorship Available.

* Full UK driving licence (access to transport desirable).
