Teamwork is key at St Anne's. As a school for students with complex medical needs and Severe Learning Difficulties, the Nursery Nurse will play a key role in providing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Whilst mechanical aids are used where practicably possible, there is an element of manual handling involved in the role as is the requirement to assist with personal care, for example: feeding, changing and toileting.
A warm, caring and patient personality is essential to work at St Anne's and you must be able to:

* Be proactive and show initiative
* Be a trustworthy role model in and around our school community
* Respect and maintain confidentiality whilst adhering to safeguarding principles at all times

You will have an appropriate Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) which meets the full and relevant criteria for Early Years qualifications set out in the Statutory Framework for EYFS
In return we offer you the chance to join an award-winning school and work with inspiring children and families and carers.
If this sounds like the role for you, please complete an application form. You must provide at least the last 10 years of employment or education history and explain any gaps and you must have a legal right to work in the UK. Appointments will be subject to satisfactory disclosure checks at enhanced level by the Disclosure and Barring Service as well as other background checks including professional references.
