The role will include: In this role, you'll bring technical insight, strategic thinking, and a commitment to high-quality delivery; * A solid background in ecology, with significant industry experience * Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (or demonstrable experience to obtain chartership) * A technical specialism within terrestrial ecology (e.g., botany, habitat restoration, protected species) * Broad ecological knowledge and adaptability to support a diverse range of projects * Proven experience managing ecological aspects of large-scale infrastructure or development projects * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail * Degree (or higher) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline * Extensive experience in terrestrial ecology, with a strong understanding of UK and Irish habitats and protected species * Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM), or demonstrable experience to obtain chartership * Proven ability to manage ecological input on large-scale infrastructure or development projects * Working knowledge of ecological legislation, planning policy, and biodiversity net gain * A technical specialism in terrestrial ecology (e.g., botany, habitat restoration, protected species licensing) is highly desirable Our Culture Our values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion and diversity.
