SEND Teacher (QTS) – SLD & PMLD Specialist – Full-Time / Part-Time, Temporary – Walsall (WS2 7NR) Salary: £150–£180 per day The School and Role ABC Teachers are recruiting for a skilled and compassionate SEND Teacher to work at Mary Elliot Academy in Walsall, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This is a flexible supply role offering both part-time and full-time opportunities. Mary Elliot is a well-established specialist school with dedicated SLD, ASC, and PMLD provisions, offering a structured and supportive environment with strong multidisciplinary collaboration. As a Teacher, you will deliver highly personalised lessons aligned to EHCPs, focusing on communication, sensory engagement, and life skills. You will work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and therapists to ensure pupils are supported holistically, creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences tailored to each individual. This role is ideal for teachers with SEND experience or those looking to develop their skills within a specialist setting. A calm, patient, and adaptable approach is essential when working with pupils with complex needs.
