Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant – Primary Outreach
Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term-time only)
Pay: £90 – £95 per day

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary outreach team in Plymouth from September.
This role is focused on working with younger children in a 1:1 and small group capacity, supporting those with a range of additional needs (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH). The position involves travelling to different outreach settings, so the ability to drive with business insurance is essential.
The Role:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for primary-aged pupils with SEN
* Encouraging engagement through creative, practical, and flexible approaches to learning
* Building strong, supportive relationships to promote emotional and academic development
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting (school, outreach, or care background considered)
* A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Ability to drive with business insurance
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
