Job Title: Fabricator / Welder

Pay Rate: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (DOE)
The Company
A long-established and well-respected manufacturer of bespoke signage solutions is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team based in Bradford. The company produces a wide range of high-quality commercial signage for retail and business clients across the UK, known for precision craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding aluminium and stainless steel components used in the production of shop front frames, built-up letters, and structural signage elements. This is a hands-on workshop-based position within a busy, well-equipped manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication and assembly of metal signage components to drawings and specifications.
MIG and TIG welding, predominantly MIG, on aluminium and stainless steel.
Working from technical drawings and templates to ensure high-quality, accurate finishes.
Grinding, polishing, and finishing of welded components.
Ensuring work is completed to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Supporting other fabrication and production duties as required.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in MIG welding (TIG experience advantageous).
Previous experience within the signage industry or in producing metal shop front frames or built-up letters is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Competent in the use of fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery.
Reliable, conscientious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Hours & Benefits:
39 hours per week (overtime may be available).
