Job Description Mixed Tax Senior Location: Liverpool Salary: 40-55k per annum Experience: UK accountancy practice tax experience required Overview We are supporting a well-established accountancy practice to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety across personal and corporate tax, managing their own portfolio, and building trusted client relationships, with support from an experienced wider team. Key Responsibilities Manage a mixed tax portfolio, typically covering personal tax and corporation tax compliance Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and associated computations Prepare corporation tax computations and returns, liaising with accounts/audit teams as needed Handle client queries, gather information, and ensure work is delivered accurately and on time Identify planning opportunities and escalate to managers/partners where appropriate Support junior colleagues with day-to-day questions and review basic work when required Maintain clear, accurate working papers and keep systems and records up to date What We’re Looking For Strong UK accountancy practice experience across personal tax and corporation tax ATT qualified or studying, CTA studying/qualified, or ACA/ACCA with strong tax exposure (all considered) Confident managing deadlines and a varied workload across multiple clients Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving Professional, clear communicator with a client-focused mindset What’s On Offer Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Study support and progression (where applicable) Flexible/hybrid working options (role dependent) Supportive team and exposure to a varied client base All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
